These are some of my favorite adult memories that I am so grateful my children get to experience, because in my opinion, nothing heals us more than being one with nature–it is an essential part of being alive.
Can a person honestly be addicted to travel, like alcohol, cigarettes or gambling? Is wanderlust the needle of the nomadic junkie? Well, Brooke and I are not sure if neuroscientists and psychiatrists would concur, but there is definitely a euphoria that occurs as we hear the rhythmic clicks of the airplane seatbelts, and dopamine levels certainly elevate as a fresh stamp is pressed into our passports.
Something surreal occurs at dusk that many unfortunately neglect to take part in–perhaps too engulfed in obligation, or strapped with stress to take notice of these aesthetic symphonies in the evening sky. However, research shows that people who feel connected with nature report being happier and having more positive emotions than those who don’t share this connection. So if you are one who does not readily partake in this experience, we highly recommend you start.

The Alchemist, which has sold over 65 million copies worldwide, plain and simply changed my life. Why I chose to wait to read this until now, I pondered briefly, but choosing to read this book during the most difficult point in my life made sense as it spoke to me on the most existential level. Hi All! It’s Brooke. I have to tell you I’ve been in love with Mandala Tapestries since I saw my first one on a You Tube video. It was hung on a wall in a bedroom and I immediately knew I had to have one of those for my room!
