A Beautiful Winter Tradition–The Christkindlmarket In Chicago and Now In Naperville

For the past three years, we have begun a beautiful Christmas tradition. We head to Chicago for the most amazing German Winter Festival–The Christkindlmarket.  This glorious festival instantly transports you into a snowy European village at Christmas time.  From the smell of hot chocolate (with the best whipped cream) and spiced mulled wine, to the quaint wooden huts selling authentic German fare,  to the twinkling lights and colorful Christmas decorations, the sweets, beer steins, and traditional German cuisine, –this place will certainly fill your heart with the spirit of Christmas!

Horseback Riding with Sea Horses in the Cayman Islands with Pampered Ponies

On our vacation in the Cayman Islands, we had the opportunity to go on the most amazing adventure–horseback riding along a tranquil stretch of white sand and turquoise waters on the north side of the island. The beautiful, well-trained horses are owned by Lori, of Pampered Ponies. Lori is an incredibly loving person who cares deeply about her clients, her staff and obviously her amazing horses. The are obviously well-cared for and happy.  We cannot stop talking about this unique experience.  It is so much more than your typical beach side horseback riding excursion!  Pampered Ponies gives a new definition to the term “Sea Horse”!

Snorkeling Excursion with Captain Marvin’s Stingray City Tours

 

After reading several outstanding reviews, we decided to book a snorkeling excursion with Captain Marvin’s Stingray City Tours.  A shuttle picked us up from the Ritz Carlton around 8:30 am and after a five minute drive, we arrived at the marina  and were greeted by the friendliest crew, Eric and Michael, as we boarded a beautiful sailboat.  We headed to the spacious upper deck to make the most of the stunning Caribbean views as we set sail for adventure.
