This past weekend, Brooke and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the beautiful Eaglewood Resort and Spa in Itasca, Illinois. If you are a spa lover, golfer or foodie, this resort is right up your alley. Speaking of ‘alley’, they also have an actual cosmic bowling alley which was such a pleasant and fun surprise!
Talk about an epic weekend! Hi everyone. It’s Brooke. I just got back from the most incredible weekend in San Francisco and want to share our adventures with you. I’m not saying we hit everything on our list because we didn’t come close, but we certainly tried to get as much in as possible.
This weekend, Brooke had a competition in Indianapolis. Parents were given the option of attending, and asking me to go away for a weekend is the no brainer of all no brainers. I had absolutely no expectations, but was happy to enjoy a weekend with my daughter and experiencing a new city.
Until a month ago, Brooke and I have never even heard of Le Meridien Hotels. Yes, we apparently live in some sort of abyssmal cave. Well, let the sunshine in because we have seen Le Meridien Light!
If you are visiting Chicago and looking for an experience that is in a class of its own, a stay at the Four Seasons Chicago is a must. Every few months Brooke and I have a tradition of spending a mother-daughter weekend in Chicago, a thirty minute train ride from our home, but believe us this is no mere staycation–staying at the Four Seasons is the most rejuvenating getaway a girl could possibly dream of–a luxurious dream hotel for pampering both teen and mom!
After years of trying many face mask products, I can without a doubt say that the search is over!! Nugg Beauty masks are absolutely amazing! At first Brooke and I were a bit skeptical, thinking the reviews were too good to be true, but we are beyond impressed.
